Thunder Force II combines top-down free-roaming stages with side-scrolling shooting stages. Destroy enemy bases in overhead view then blast through traditional horizontal shooter levels. Features a powerful weapon system and the series' signature intense action. An early Genesis title that showcased the system's shooter capabilities.
